Latvia and Ukraine – October 2016
I want to thank you so much for your wonderful support and your faithful prayers. God bless you for your kindness that enabled us to meet so many of the orphans needs, as well as bring many people to Jesus, in needy places where I have recently been ministering. These countries included Latvia and Ukraine where I, with the help of my interpreter Victor Volchenko, was preaching in Military Bases and High Schools, as well as checking on the orphanages. It is already exceedingly cold in those regions – even before the snow has started falling. I was in Latvia last week conducting outreach seminars in three Military Bases, three Boot Camps in the forests, for new military cadets, five High Schools, and the Valmiera Basketball Team, now at the top of the National Basket Ball league all in four days – the traveling was hectic. Wonderful Ministry in USA
I had four weeks of very fruitful ministry in USA against the backdrop of uncertainty surrounding the upcoming presidential elections. Arriving in Bloomington in late August, I spent a couple of days resting up with my hosts, Steve and Janet Eddington. The House Church meeting in LeRoy, Illinois was very sweet and the worship was wonderful. The prophetic message I had for this congregation was well accepted and the fellowship over lunch was excellent. Sunday evening I enjoyed at the Harvest Family Church with a small, but enthusiastic group of people. Monday lunchtime I met with the group of strong businessmen in Ogden Illinois. The conversation was like "iron sharpening iron". Monday evening saw a saw a wonderful Outreach Dinner meeting in Ogden IL arranged by Ken and Pam Cooley for a delightful group of people. The boy from an orphanage
The winter of 2004 in Berdichevo, a small township near Zhytomyr, Ukraine, was no different to any other winter. It was cold. Cold and dark. An unknown woman carried a child in her womb, a child that she couldn't care less for. It was an unwanted, and very unexpected pregnancy. A pregnancy that she believed complicated her life more than she wanted. She wanted to be “free”. Free to do what she had become a slave to: drinking, partying and stealing. To her being pregnant and having a child was a liability from which she desperately wanted to escape. Fast forward ahead and it was now the point of no return. The labor pains brought her to a small hospital where soon after a urgent arrival she gave birth to a baby boy. He was small, skinny and unwanted. He certainly wasn’t ready to face the brutal reality of this world. And the world most assuredly had no desire to welcome this little creature into its roaring waves. There was not one who welcomed this skinny baby with a smile. He was a child no one wanted and no one cared for. No one BUT God. It was God Who welcomed this little

Latvia/Ukraine February 2016 The programme in Latvia was amazing. It was freezing with snow and icy cold winds each day. In Latvia I had wonderful seminars in the military high schools out in the country where the attention and respect was marvellous – even from some students who were challenged by my warnings to stay away from corrupting influences. The needy people in church services were very encouraged. Two Men’s Fellowship meetings at Ogre which were well appreciated. The church services at the Golgotha Baptist Church (where the Military Chaplain General is the pastor), and the large Russian Word of Truth Church in Riga - both had very encouraging results. Then on Sunday afternoon my Latvian manager, Sasha, and I flew to Kiev to begin a very intense programme that is still underway. Latvia ~ Orphans Winter Needs – Jan 2016 As we have said in our post for the Ukraine orphans really need urgent help for the Orphans of Latvia and Ukraine in their great need at this very cold time of the year in Ukraine and Latvia. The current temperatures average around -20C (-4F) horrendous, and many orphanages have been penalised for exceeding their electricity usage. We desperately need to meet those heating bills otherwise the power may be cut off. Please help us if you are able.See my seperate report for Ukraine.In Latvia the needs are the same, but the orphanages are more widely spread. The effort our local team makes to get the food, bedding, clothes, nappies, vitamins and medicines to them takes longer, but the young people on our team are really dedicated to the Lord and this ministry, that they always deliver the goods and

We tried to make the Slavic Christmas Season (second week January) as happy as possible for all these needy children. We’ve been supplying a lot of fresh vegetables, vitamins and medicines to the orphanages in order to provide a healthy diet for the children this winter. We’ve got
