Ministry in England & Orphans in Ukraine ~ November 2019 On Sunday November 3rd I drove to Central London to minister to the Salvation Chinese Church in a combined service for Mandarin & Cantonese speaking believers at 12 noon at St Margaret Patten Anglican Church, near Tower Bridge, London. I’ve known many of these Chinese believers for two decades and have found them so diligent in their witness for Christ to the extent that they had planted a number of daughter churches in different areas of London. It’s been marvellous seeing them reach out to, and care for other national cultures in the multicultural City of London. Odessa, Ukraine On Tuesday November 5th my manager, Sasha, and I flew to Odessa, Ukraine to minister to the Orphans & Homeless Kids at the House of Hope, and check on the health of the brain damaged baby orphans

Ministry in USA and Europe Oct-Nov 2019 In early October, the Friday night Fellowship Meeting at John & Linda Andrewski’s home in Mashpee, Cape Cod, was joined by the Yarmouth Ladies Bible Study Group, led by Pat Greene. Linda, Pat and these precious ladies had knitted many little baby blankets, scarves, beanies and little jackets for the orphans and brain-damaged babies of Odessa, Ukraine. They had brought these articles to the Home Meeting to be packed in a huge suitcase for me to take to Odessa in early November. The fellowship was very precious and the message on leaving a legacy for generations after ours was encouragingly received. The blessing of this Friday night was carried over to Sunday morning at the Living Hope Family Church, Hyannis, Cape Cod, led by Erik and Tami Eskelund. News from Eastern Europe Brain Damaged Babies Orphanage in Odessa, Ukraine The great news is that we have been able to supply and install a Portable Respirator to help these disadvantaged little children with malformed lungs breathe normally when their lungs aren’t functioning properly. In addition, we were able to provide the vitally necessary Mucous Suction Machine that these children desperately need when their lungs block up with mucous and they can suffocate. They are noisy machines but do their work thoroughly. We have recently placed the order with the supplier in Poland for the Verticalizer Chair for little children costing $3,500, so that they can begin their motor coordination rehab at a much younger age, to have their bodies exercised each day. A lot of these children are seriously handicapped in that their brains don’t function properly to cause the limbs to move. These verticalizer
Amazing Mission in Angola
Amazing Mission in Angola Ihave recently returned from Angola, West Africa, where I was speaking at a Missionary, Medical and Humanitarian Aid Workers conference. This was way out in the country in the Angolan bushland at the rustic Vihua Game Resort some 3 hours south east of Lubango. It was a cute place and fenced in from the African animals like springbok, kudu, giraffe, rhinoceros, zebra and ostriches, although monkeys were romping through the resort each day. I had a wonderful time being amongst missionaries, doctors, surgeons and humanitarian aid leaders and local workers, many of whom had been there for decades. They were amazing people who simply considered themselves God's servants to the locals and had won the trust of thousands. I called them “very talented legends” in their amazing fields of expertise. In fact, I used a story that described my feelings towards them.

Incredible times in Australia Ladies meeting at Taigum Gardens In May I had the privilege of sharing a PowerPoint presentation of the orphans we support in Latvia and Ukraine, with the ladies’ prayer group led by Beth Irvine & Olwyn Westbrook at Taigum Gardens, Brisbane. What a powerhouse for God these ladies are, who are committed to praying for God’s servants and His work. I believe that Mary Queen of Scots would have said regarding these ladies, what she said about John Knox the great Scottish reformer. “I fear the prayers of John Knox more than I fear the armies my cousin, Elizabeth of England”. Bridgeman Downs Ladies Meeting At the end of June Margurita and I shared a similar PowerPoint presentation about our orphanage support work with the ladies meeting at the Bridgeman Downs Baptist Church north of Brisbane. A Rejected Little Girl
A Rejected Little Girl The world, the family, and the mother did not welcome N’s birth. She was not welcomed into life with the smile or a mother’s love. Even as she grew, she would not know what it would feel like to be cuddled, hugged or comforted. She was not just a second-class family member. She was despised. She simply was not there to exist from the very beginning. Her early years were spent, desolate and forsaken. She would eat when she could find food. The streets, back yards and caves were her turf. She felt more secure being outside the house in her hiding places than she did at home. Each night she would crawl into the house hoping to stay unnoticed by yet another strange “visitor” – men that came to be “entertained” by her mother. She learned to be a “ghost” child.
