Wonderful time of celebration with Chinese Churches of London ~ September 2018
Wonderful time of celebration with Chinese Churches of London ~ September 2018 ~ The first Sunday in England, I had a wonderful time of celebration with the Mandarin and Cantonese speaking Chinese Churches of London at their 30th Anniversary Thanksgiving Lunch to celebrate 3 decades of outreach and service to the needy people of this big city. They had successfully planted 4 churches which are growing in numbers and impact on the community. About 250 people filled the Hong Kong City Restaurant in New Cross Road, South East London, together with about 150 of the public who were eating in the place and couldn’t help but hear what we were sharing. 13 young people had just returned from a mission to the orphans and homeless children of Odessa, Ukraine, which I had the privilege of helping to arrange. They shared testimonies (with many tears) of what they had experienced
Amazing Ministry in Western Australia ~ August 2018
Amazing Ministry in Western Australia ~ August 2018 ~ In August, I had an amazingly fruitful week of ministry in the Wagin/Narrogin farming region of Western Australia. Arriving on Wednesday evening I had an amazing meeting to 120 students of the Narrogin Agricultural High School (near Wagin) arranged by the School Chaplain. I had supper with the students and staff and shared one of my seminars “Don’t Quit when life gets tough” – with a visual PPT presentation. There was a wonderful response. The next day I was at the Dumbleyung Primary School (near Wagin) where I showed them a Power- Point presentation of the Orphans of Eastern Europe, and then let them ask questions. These junior schoolers were wonderful, from the 3 youngsters who helped me very accurately with their media system to the rest of the children who were marvellously attentive and responsive. That evening

Special Ministry in Australia
Special Ministry in Australia In May I enjoyed a weekend of amazing ministry at Peace International Church, Rockhampton Qld, where there were two fabulous youth rallies and a Sunday morning church service. This was a "déjà vu time" of ministry, with a bit of time lapse activity. In 1989 - 1990 I was privileged to speak at church and youth camps in Rockhampton. So many teenagers came to the Lord in that ministry. Those young people are now adults in the church, and I was now ministering to and counselling their teenagers. There was one big man in the church, came up and reminded me that he had been a tall scrawny young man at those youth camps. He is now a local schoolteacher, a powerlifting champion and is now on the church board. A number of present pas- tors/leaders in the church (now with many
Refreshing Ministry in the USA
Refreshing Ministry in the USA I had a really fruitful and enjoyable time of ministry in the USA in May. The first port of call was Memphis, Tennessee where I caught up with good friends, one of whom, Ned LaWarre, arranged for me to minister to the executive team of the company where he worked. It was tremendous ministering to this team of Christian men and encouraging them in their ministry to the community through their business. A good friend, Frank Webb, drove all the way from Columbus, Mississippi to Memphis to see me. The first Sunday ministry in a wonderful House Church in LeRoy, Illinois was immensely fruitful, especially with the adults and youngsters, really hungry to serve God. On the Monday evening it was a joy to share at a Business Supper Meeting arranged by Ken and Pam Cooley in Ogden IL. A good crowd
Urgent needs in Odessa
Urgent needs in Odessa We have many teenage orphans doing work related courses at present, to enable them to prepare to enter the workforce when they turn 18 this year. These work related courses have marvellously been provided for. This enables them to get better jobs and apprenticeships to start earning an income. If they don't have these opportunities available to them, there is a strong possibility that they might live on the streets. The consequences of this will most likely push them into activities where their futures are bleak', like prostitution, theft or selling illegal items. The results of those are horrendous for these precious lives. A very urgent series of needs has arisen with the Orphans of Odessa who are doing their work related courses before leaving their orphanage. They have had to leave their orphanage prematurely. They've been brought into our Homeless Kids
Summer Camps in Latvia and Ukraine
Summer Camps in Latvia and Ukraine The first of the Summer Camps in Latvia began with a wonderful burst of joy and enthusiasm at the campsite near Riga in Latvia. There are 2 camps running back to back that have about 150 young people from the city youth groups coupled young teenage orphans who will strike up wonderful friendships. When the orphans leave their orphanages at 18 they are normally invited by their city friends to stay with them while they search for jobs in the city. This has been most successful in the past, and for some a stepping stone for work somewhere else in Europe. The greatest blessing is that many of these young people make full on commitments to the Lord Jesus at these camps and build on that foundation for the rest of their lives. We are in the process of giving
