Please stand with us at this time Our Dear Friends, We trust you are well and enjoying God’s rich blessings at this time. May we ask you to stand with us in prayer for urgent needs that the orphans of Eastern Europe have right now – many are sick after a horrendous winter, and we have many 17 year old orphans needing to do work related courses to enable them to prepare to enter the work force when they turn 18 this year. This gives them a better chance to get a job and start earning an income. If they don’t they will live on the streets and most likely turn to prostitution. The results of that are horrendous. We are very short of funds right now, after meeting so many Orphans needs this last icy winter. If you are able, please help us to help these young people Yes,

Sweet Ministry in the UK It was a pleasure to minister once again to the Salvation for Chinese Church, in London. They have 2 services on a Sunday - a Mandarin service at 11 AM and a Cantonese service at 1:30 PM. Both are equally exciting with lively worship and wonderful attention to God's word. The emphasis that Sunday was to in- struct and commission people for the discipling and training of children for present and future ministry. The response was wonderful, and newcomers committed their lives to Jesus. I met the leaders of this community 25 years ago when they were starting off in ministry. They now have 3 congregations and are not only leading London residents to Christ but also sending out missionaries to China. Again, it was a delight to minister to my friends at the Deal Pentecostal Church, near Dover in Kent. These are

Fruitful Ministry in Australia On the Sunday after arriving back in Australia I had the joy of ministering to a very alive congregation at the LiveCity Church in Redbank Plains QLD. They see people come to the Lord almost every Sunday, and it was no different this Sunday, where I taught them how to lead their friends and colleagues to Christ. In that service 3 people came to Lord. It was again a great privilege to minister to the wonderful Salvation Church in Pymble, Sydney, where the worship was out- standing. This noble congregation responded so well to the theme of "Recover & Rise Up from Bad Beginnings to Impact Others, and maybe Save the Nation". Exciting USA Ministry ~ January 2018 Overland Missions Conference and Staff Retreat in Florida want to thank you so much for your faithful prayers for my recent mission and travels in the United States. This winter in the United States was not the best they've experienced, with heavy snow falls and blizzards, but your prayers moved God's hand to facilitate breaks in the bad weather for me to travel safely. I really did appreciate that. On 2nd January I was due to fly from Brisbane to Los Angeles, and then on to Orlando to speak at a missionary convention for my nephew,Philip Smethurst's organisation - Overland Missions, and their Staff Re- treat. The night before I was due to travel, I received a notification from Qantas that the flight had been cancelled and I had been moved to another flight 11 hours later. That wasn't acceptable

Orphans Christmas parties & gifts We want to thank you so much for your very kind support which has gone a long way to giving many orphans a wonderful Christmas season. Through your generosity we were able to provide warm meals and quality educational gifts for these needy children. They so appreciated our local teams visiting them over the last few weeks, presenting gospel concerts and giving them their Christmas treats. Our faithful local teams travelled long distances to help these children to have a happy and beneficial time this Christmas. The children have learnt the blessing of receiving gifts - especially God's gift of eternal life through the Lord Jesus. Our local teams are always faithful in presenting the gospel message and helping children grow in their relationship with Jesus. We normally spread these Christmas projects over 2 months of December and January, and slightly beyond in
Norway – March 2018
Norway - March 2018 Our ministry in Norway was immensely fruitful as a result of your faithful prayers., in both Trondheim and Molde (4 hour's drive south of Trondheim). The Russian and Norwegian speaking people were greatly encouraged by the word of God, and the challenge to be brighter and more effective witnesses for Christ. Niamh, our granddaughter, was a wonderful encour- agement to the young people, not only in the meetings but in personal interaction and fellowship. She was a great help to me as well. The weather was beautiful, with clear blue skies in spite of the icy temperatures (around -10C) and snow on the ground. There were no snow falls to hinder our travel - thank the Lord for that. Our Eastern European manager, Sasha Rodionov and his family, as well as a lot of Latvian friends, now living in Trondheim and Molde,
